Techniques

"Technique" refers to the specific way a patient receives a chiropractic adjustment. Our doctors use a mix of their hands, mechanical tables and/or adjusting instruments. Each patient's adjustment will be specific and safe depending on factors such as age, history of trauma, surgeries, diseases, arthritis, ranges of motion, scoliosis, congenital defects and their responses to previous adjustments.

The doctors of Strater Family Chiropractic are trained and efficient in many techniques and mainly practice with the following:

- Diversified

- Activator Methods

- Palmer Package

- Gonstead

- Extremity Adjusting (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, feet & jaw)

- Cox Flexion-Distraction (for disc issues)

- Toggle Upper Cervical Specific

- Webster (for pregnant women)

Please do not hesitate to call the office if there are any questions about any of these.
