What to Expect On Your First Visit With Us

On your first visit, you will meet with the doctor and review your current concerns and past health history.

Then you will be examined by the doctor to determine if your symptoms are related to the spine and can be helped by chiropractic. Examination involves measuring ranges of motion, orthopedic and neurological testing and motion palpation where the doctor uses his/her hands to feel the motion or lack of motion in your spine. 

After the exam, the doctor may determine to take x-rays to help better diagnose the areas of concern. The use of x-rays is not pre-determined before the visit and is dependent on age, history and exam findings.

The doctor will review your x-rays and exam findings to determine if chiropractic care can help you. If necessary, the doctor will refer you to the another type of doctor for further evaluation.
